Uncovering of Impacted Teeth Post-Op Instructions

There are several methods of exposing an impacted tooth. This procedure is usually completed for orthodontic reasons and an orthodontic bracket is usually placed. It is important that you follow up with your orthodontist as recommended a few days after the surgery to make sure the bracket placed during surgery is connected to your braces. If the bracket should come off after the surgery or appears dislodged, please contact our office.
