Fiberotomy Post-Op Instructions

The fiberotomy procedure is a minor surgical procedure. There are very few complications, but since no suturing is required, there is a potential for a little bleeding after the procedure for the first 24 hours. If you experience any bleeding, it will likely stop on its own, but you can apply pressure to the area by squeezing the gums against the tissue using a piece of moist gauze.
