TADs Post-Op Instructions

If we have requested that you meet with your orthodontist shortly after placement, it is important that you follow through as the device can start to loosen if it is not activated in a timely manner.

A temporary anchorage device is meant to be temporary. This characteristic also means that it can begin to loosen during its use. There is not much that can be done to prevent this, but if you notice that your TAD is loose, please contact our office.
